My tiny house on wheels arrived last week. Friday to be exact. It was a lovely rainy-ish day. Leveling took forever and it’s still not quite right. The way I see it, my house has an incline like a TreadClimber… Right?
I just started sleeping in the house on Tuesday. It was heavenly! My only gripe would be the stairs during the middle of the night. It’ll take some getting used to. Overall, the house is a mess and I don’t have any interior pictures to share. Make sure you are following me on Instagram. I post pictures and also utilize their story mode at the top of the app. Once I get settled it, I’m going to sit down and write a few posts explaining things that I had no clue about/wasn’t prepared for.
My tiny house build is starting y’all. Like for real this time. My tiny house was born today!
Welcome back everyone! Who knew there would be so many decisions to make? My tiny house on wheels build should be starting in a week or so. I am finalizing things with Titan Tiny Homes now and picking out/ordering things that will be used in the house. Interested to see my color schemes and such? Read on for the details.
Sorry for the
overly long break. After we packed up and moved thinking the house was sold… It did not sell. It didn’t sell a few times since April. We would fall under contract, wait it out and then fall right on out of contract. Frustrating huh? Nonetheless, it is officially sold!
We signed our contracts a week ago or so with Titan Tiny Homes. We are beyond excited. I won’t have much to show you all until early next year, as our houses won’t be delivered until January 2017 as of right now. I did apply for FYI’s Tiny House Nation, but unfortunately it’s all bad timing. I was hoping to not only use the blog to document the journey but also share my smiling face with the world. Maybe there is another show out there for me… Hmm.
So for now, I don’t have much else to say. Once we begin purchasing things and finalizing things, I will share along the way. Til then, stay safe and see you then!
The house is officially on the market! Well technically, we listed on Wednesday afternoon. There were offers coming in the next day and all over the weekend. In the middle of trying to work and stay organized for showings, I decided to host a “Free Stuff” garage blow out. Gotta pare down some how, right?
